About Holbrook Landcare

For over 35 years, we've worked alongside farmers and landholders in southern NSW to protect and improve the land, water, and biodiversity of the Upper Murray region.

Our Story

Born from the land, built by community

Holbrook Landcare Network began in 1989 when a group of local farmers came together with a shared vision: to look after the land that sustained them, and to do it together. What started as a few paddock conversations has grown into one of the most respected Landcare organisations in southern New South Wales.

Today we manage a diverse range of agricultural and Natural Resource Management projects — from soil testing and property mapping to drought resilience workshops and native revegetation. Our programs are shaped by the needs of our members and grounded in the latest science.

We're a not-for-profit organisation, and proud of it. Everything we do is driven by our mission to improve land management outcomes for the Upper Murray community — not by profit.
